An introduction

I have been building software for a long time and writing about almost none of it. This is an attempt to fix that.

A quick introduction, since we are starting from nothing. I am an engineer in Denver. I came into software sideways, after seven years in the Army as an Arabic linguist and analyst, and I have spent the years since as an engineer, a director, and a principal across application security, cloud operations, and a good deal of engineering management. Most of my attention lately goes to agents and the infrastructure that runs them.

What I expect to write about is whatever I run into while building. Some of that will be agents and the systems around them. Some will be security and operations, because that is where a lot of my instincts were formed. Some of it will be further afield, when something is interesting enough to be worth the detour.

There is no schedule. Posts will show up when I have something worth saying rather than on a cadence, and I would rather publish six things a year that were worth writing than fifty that were not.
